his home basement into a 2,000 square foot studio and showroom on
the historic downtown square in Perry, Oklahoma.
Jim has studied and honed his craft under
the guidance of many prominent figurative sculptors including Bruno
Lucchesi, Richard McDonald, Blair Buswell and George Lundeen through
workshops at the Scottsdale Artists School in Scottsdale, Arizona
and the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts in Loveland, Colorado.
In between projects Jim conducts sculpture
workshops at the Multi Arts Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma, through
the auspices of The Oklahoma Sculpture Society and at his studio
in Perry.
Some of Jim’s works include an installation
of six life size bronze figures at the College of Veterinary Medicine
at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, a life size
